Born into a Hausa-speaking Fulani household of moderate academics, I obtained a Masters in Journalism and was happy, until curiosity about my ethnicity increased. So I moved to Nigeria in 2011 and began sharing my experiences of being British and Nigerian from a rare Fulani female perspective.
